hmmm. who knows how long this set-up will last.....
well i'm lindsey. i'm firmly opposed to capitalization except when necessary.
i live in a small town that was once a lot smaller.
i'm surrounded by people trying to make their life simpler by attaching expensive things to it. the logic of that eludes me.
i have three best friends who couldn't be more different from each other, but maybe that's what keeps us together.
i have a family. they're crazy. end of story.
so today, this cloudless last day of summer vacation, my crazy family and i journeyed to the not-so-faraway land of the grandparents. we climbed tall trees and came down with armfuls of treasure. i mean peaches. we partook of the fruit and rejoiced and were kicked out of the garden by my brother who wanted to go golfing.
this summer went by so fast, i'm still having a hard time processing the fact that tomorrow i go back to that flourescent-lit, air-conditioned prison with other children my age. just give me one more month of summer, that's all i ask!
