halloween is coming.
did you even know????
i did. i enjoy halloween immensely. like the movies (young frankenstein, ghostbusters, anything tim burton, weird science) and the costumes (i'm being cruella deville) and the parties (i have to bake 45 cupcakes by tonight... bring it on) and the candy (no parenthetical clarification needed).
i also love the creepings. as in, me and my friend wrote "entrance to the chamber of secrets. (beware)." in sharpie on two pieces of paper and taped them to a classroom door today. i know. we're so clever.
but you know how some of the truly benevolent publish the idea that the good spirit of sharing and caring that is attached to christmas can be felt throughout the whole year?
yeah, well, i get that with halloween.
sometimes, i think there's something truly wrong with me because i adore tim burton and edgar allen poe, look for excuses to enter a cemetary (with my friends, of course) and spend a good chunk of my time creeping people out in general. i think i have a permanent late-october mentality.
needless to say, i love halloween.
