one definition of happiness:
finding 5 books at D.I. for $5.50. one of which, hamlet, is required for ap lit. $1.00. where at barnes and noble it would be like $15.00. SCORE.
anna karenina by leo tolstoy and watership down by richard adams were both on my summer reading list for the summer and i never got to them. $1.50 combined. VICTORY.
the house of mirth by edith wharton. i like her, and it sounded like a good book. $2.00. TOUCHDOWN.
the bronze bow by elizabeth george speare, which i loved as a very nerdy, literate, elementary school-age child. blast from the past! i forgot about this book, but i'm so excited to re-read it. $1.00. SUCCESS.
heh.. i guess not much has changed from elementary school days to high school days. so i like to read, okay? nothing wrong with that. can i brag and tell you about the 19 books i read over the summer? because it happened and it was awesome. i had no life for a while. but it was worth it.
oh geez. i'm going to stop before i embarass myself any more.
