my mom hides my stocking until christmas morning because it's homely.

a few nights ago i went to a christmas dance with a boy from chamber who i didn't really know but had a LARGE amount of fun with.

i danced very hard and my neck hurts real bad this morning.

my friend nate, also in chamber (everybody in our group was in chamber) taught me how to dance the charleston.

and i've never felt cooler.

i haven't stopped listening to the where the wild things are soundtrack. it is unreal.

christmas is coming.

i got an 8 on my hamlet literary analysis. WOO HOO!!!

also. i failed another math test. not woo hoo. boo hoo.

i miss junior year. things weren't so complicated then. i didn't have to deal with an ex-boyfriend, or thoughts of college, or calculus, or how i'm going to pay for choir tour, or friends moving out of my life, or thinking about how i'm going to spend my last christmas break while living at home. sometimes i can't wait to get out of here and get my life started, but in reality i don't know where to begin.
