i made a bucket book.
the first page introduces my bucket list. things to accomplish before i die, of varying importance. examples: marry in the temple. graduate college. spend a night in a cemetary. vote. etc.
flip it over, (and upside down) and the last page (but now the first page) begins my bucket reading list. books i want to read before i die. (i keep it at the back of the book becuase it's kind of embarrassing. that i'm such a geek.) examples: the iliad and the odysee by homer. the quran. the count of monte cristo unabridged. the history of love. etc.
i hope i fill the whole thing and accomplish it all.
and, here's the catch, i hope i get something more than shallow pleasure out of its completion.
i guess my whole idea of making a bucket book is providing my mind with suggestions for activities that i hope will help me become a better person, understand more about the world around me, and have fun along the way.
i'll let you know if it works.
in heaven.
