not to float

so many great things happened today.
and so many uprooting things too.
i needed the reminder that not everything is peachy keen, even when you're in the center of the bubble that is utah county.
i needed the reminder to do better.
but it still weighed me down.
today was a heavy day.
not heavy with my own problems, but heavy with those of others who i don't know how to help. more than one. in fact, it seems like everyone back home, really.
the worst of it?
knowing sympathy is walking on air compared to experience.
