every so often

life gets a bit hard.

especially when one sings ave maria for one's choir teacher. against one's will.

and even more so when one FAILS.

and then gets told so.

if only i had the range of a golf course or a diaphragm willing to cooperate.

or wasn't failing GOVERNMENT AND CITIZENSHIP (yes, the easiest class on campus besides child care or lifetime sports) because i spaced caroling at kohler's in the midst of december chamber madness.

hmm. i complain a lot.

however

i officially have a ticket on a certain airplane

that will take me to new york city

to sing in carnegie hall.

AND

i got an eight on my jane eyre essay.

AND

i'm going to decades to shop for preference on saturday. and getting my haircut by caitlyn on friday.

life isn't always as hard as it seems.
