malfunction

i just had a panic attack because i forgot how to spell soup.

and those are the kinds of things i make fun of people for!!!

but. literally. the cogs in my brain locked. and things like "soop" and "supe" and "sup" were coming out and they all looked wrong and i was racking my brain and i rushed over to a cookbook and found a tab labeled "soups and sides" and the cogs whirred back to life and slightly ashamed relief washed over me.
if this is stage one of writer's block i swear i'll sob.

that was not the original reason behind this post, however.

(as interesting as that was.)

but really what i wanted to say was that it is surprising how much fun i can have with people i have always thought i would never get along with. i guess all it takes is a common location and a common interest and friends can be found anywhere.

even in the most unlikely places.
