i believe in Christ.
i am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
i believe that families are forever.
i believe in the power of the individual.
i believe in hope.
i believe in love.
i believe in peace.
i believe in everything lovely or of good report or praiseworthy.
i believe in a someday.
i believe in education.
i believe in a Plan.
i believe in happiness.
i know the world is an awful place.
i know unhappiness is everywhere.
i know there is fear.
i know there is doubt.
i know there is sadness.
i see all that every day.
but i also see the goodness,
and the very fact that goodness and happiness and peace does exist in little pockets of this tormented world, and that people still seek it, even in the darkness, makes me hope for something better.
it's when we cease to believe in something better, in something brighter, that we become no more than animals: destroying each other, fighting to survive another day in this hellish place.
when we stop believing in a better humanity, we are human no longer.
it's an interesting thing.
oh, and i also believe in this:
